先日、車検でコバックに持っていったところ、スタビリンクのダストブーツが破れているから車検には通らないとのこと
スタビリンクごと交換も考えましたが、純正品左右で9000円程度
社外品左右で6000円程度なのでしばし考えることに
いろいろ探していたところ、ダストブーツだけ売っていることを知りました
ヤフオクで左右2000円程度
もっと安くも買えるんですが、今回は時間も無いので対応車種が明記されているものを買いました
まずはジャッキアップしてウマをかけます
今回買ったのがコレ
5mmのヘキサソケットとメガネで緩めます
下側はメガネだけで外せます
外れました
これが破れですね
よく見つけますね
グリスが飛び散ってなければ見つからなかったかも
ブーツの付け根にバネみたいな抜け止めが付いているのでなんとか外します
外すときはなるべく変形させないほうがいいです
新旧
古いグリスを拭き取って、新しいブーツを付けます
隙間から新しいグリスを入れます
これからが最大の難所
ブーツを傷つけないように抜け止めを付けますが、これがなかなか難しい
なんとか付きました
あとは車体に付ければＯＫ
